This Hotel has received a subsidy for the execution of its renovation thanks to the call for aid to the financing line for energy efficiency and circular economy projects of tourism companies in Catalonia, within the framework of the European instrument NEXT GENERATION and the recovery, transformation and resilience plan of the Government of Spain.

The renovation of the Hotel has consisted of a set of actions for the improvement of its energy efficiency, consisting of:

• The improvement of the thermal envelope (of the Ground Floor and Mezzanine).
• The complete renovation of the thermal installation; incorporating a high-performance aerothermal system for the production of DHW and Air Conditioning, and incorporating latest-generation Heat Recovery Units into the Ventilation installation.

The result of this renovation has made it possible to improve the energy efficiency of the Hotel, which has gone from having an energy rating in CO₂ emissions (kg/m²) of 71.4C to 46.6B.

The total investment of the renovation has been €957,499.70 and the financial support received from the European Union has been €287,249.91.
